Dr Matthew Whalley created Hypnosis Tool’s original concept.
I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology in 2004. Disclaimer. The views expressed here are not those of NHS.
The internet does not offer a satisfactory service in hypnosis. There’s a lot of misleading information and inaccurate claims. This site provides summaries and research applications of clinical and hypnosis. This site’s clinical information should be used in conjunction with, and not as a replacement for, professional medical advice. My main research interest is in neuroimaging work, but I am interested to see all sorts of investigations using hypnosis.
I also have a website with worksheets to help psychologists in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Self-help materials and a website are provided for patients.
